I opened Jessica Lila Florist in December 2017, and as the owner and head florist, I am so proud to introduce you to my beautiful business!
My career began with years spent training and working as a florist in London and Sussex. I was clear that my business should always be about delivering not only the freshest and most beautiful blooms but also giving all my customers personal and knowledgeable service.
My rural workshop at Myrtlegrove is my ultimate happy place - it's here in the quiet charm of the surrounding South Downs in the Worthing area that you will find me making beautiful arrangements with the freshest flowers. One of the best parts of my job is watching the seasons change through the mixes of flowers and foliage that come in through my door every day.
Outside of the workshop, I am often out and about delivering floral goodness or taking appointments. Personal and attentive service is important to me, so it is always lovely to meet with customers ahead of important life events such as weddings and funerals so that I can fully understand your needs to develop the brief.
Flowers give us all a wonderful opportunity to express our feelings and emotions. They provide a special way to commemorate so many of life’s big occasions, and it’s my privilege to express your wishes through my work.
I buy daily from trusted suppliers in Holland to secure the highest quality blooms.
I buy British flowers wherever possible during the Spring and Summer seasons, introducing their unique seasonality into my work.
I personally design, hand-tie, and hand-deliver every single bouquet across Worthing, Ferring, and wider West Sussex.
My beautiful flatcoat, Devon, is usually found by my side or curled up on her big bed—she's never far away! She's mischievous and full of fun and if you're lucky enough to meet her, you're guaranteed a friendly lick. You’ll find us roaming somewhere on the South Downs when we’re not busy flowering.
